If you’re looking for an outdoor experience that delivers excitement, freedom, and family-friendly fun, the Ready to Ride Off Road Trails Park at The Police Activities League of Egg Harbor Township and Atlantic County offers something truly one of a kind. The area’s only off-highway vehicle park of its kind. Ready to Ride gives dirt bike, ATV, and go-kart enthusiasts a place to ride, explore, and challenge themselves in a safe, structured environment.
Located on a 35-acre property in EHT, Ready to Ride features over eight miles of marked trails, making it a destination for riders of all skill levels. Trails are clearly designated green for beginners, blue for intermediate riders, and black for those looking for more advanced challenges. Along the way, riders will find jumps, bridges, ponds, one-track and two-track trails and even a tunnel. It’s an unforgettable riding experience every time they visit.
Built for Riders of All Experience Levels
Ready to Ride is designed to grow with you. Beginners can start comfortably on green trails, while more experienced riders can test their skills on tougher terrain. The park is open seven days a week. Year-round, from 10 a.m. to dusk or 6 p.m., whichever comes first, weather permitting. Because the park may close for special events or snow-covered trails, check the PAL website for updates before heading out.
This is a bring-your-own-ride facility. All riders must have their own dirt bike, ATV, or go-kart, as PAL does not rent vehicles.
Safety First, Always
Safety is a top priority at Ready to Ride. All riders are required to wear proper safety gear, including a helmet, goggles, gloves, long sleeves, sturdy pants, and boots for dirt bikes and ATVs. Sound levels are strictly enforced at 92 decibels, and all trails are clearly marked. Riders must stay on designated paths at all times.
Additional rules help ensure a safe experience for everyone. No riding beyond your ability, no riding double on single-rider vehicles, and never riding alone. Riders under 16 must be supervised by an adult, and children ages 6–10 must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
How to Get Started
Getting started is simple: complete the online registration, submit your membership payment, and pay the required orientation fee for first-time riders. Once registered, riders schedule their orientation by calling 609-645-8413 or emailing EHTPAL@ehtpal.org
Gift certificates are also available for one-day passes or annual memberships. Ready to Ride is a perfect gift for any off-road enthusiast.
