Step Into the World of Media
The PAL Media Club gives participants the chance to explore the exciting world of media from every angle. Whether students are curious about television production, filming, photography, or what happens behind the scenes… the Media Club opens the door to hands-on learning in a real production environment.
From learning how to frame a shot to understanding how lighting changes a scene, students gain experience. Both in front of and behind the camera. It’s a space designed to build confidence, creativity, and collaboration—all while having a lot of fun.
A State-of-the-Art Media Center
The Media Center at PAL is equipped with professional-level tools that give kids a true behind-the-scenes look at the media industry. The space features a state-of-the-art live streaming studio, allowing students to learn how broadcasts are produced and shared in real time.
There’s also an iMac post-production editing station, where students can bring their projects to life through video editing, sound design, and visual storytelling. And coming soon, a dedicated podcast studio, expanding opportunities to explore audio production, interviews, and storytelling in new ways.
Real-World Experience, Real Impact
One of the most exciting aspects of the PAL Media Center is the opportunity to record commercials for the local community. Students get hands-on experience working on real projects while learning teamwork, communication, and technical skills that translate far beyond the studio.
Kids don’t just learn how media is made, it’s understanding how stories connect people.

The PAL Media Club meets:
- Wednesdays from 6–8 p.m.
- Saturdays from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Sessions take place at the PAL facility located at 2542 Ridge Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, making it easily accessible for families throughout Atlantic County.
Whether students dream of being on camera, behind the scenes, or somewhere in between, the Media Club provides a welcoming space to explore interests and develop new skills.
